I cleared 1 technical round. Then got call from MasterCard HR he said 38 LPA is max budget for specialist( Level 7) at MasterCard,if you are ok then will go ahead? Is it true ? Work life balance is decent. Managers don't have technical skills and a lot of politics happen. However, the worst part is less autonomy for doing things and a lot of manual ppt type of work. You will easily get stagnant here.
Need more details to comment. Are you into software development? What is your current tech stack, offered job grade (Specialist Engineer or Lead Engineer)?
The provided hike is ~60% but it doesn't matter as your current CTC is low. For a Java/microservices dev role, you can expect 20 + X
The X depends on your interview performance.
There is a bonus component at BNYM (~5-15% depending on job performance) as well; In your case, the CTC may add up to 19 + 1.9 = 20.9 LPA.
