It's good company to work for, unless you are unwilling to put in efforts. People cry when they are asked to come to office and work, don't listen to noise. I know teams have politics but that's there everywhere. This is my opinion after three years with Wells Fargo. I too have seen pathetic managers and good managers too.
Can you please let us know the tech stack you work for? It's not about putting efforts but what type of work you get
Wells has changed a bit for past 2 years. Find the below happenings in the company now a days.
1. Recalibrations and reorgs for every 6 months due to layoffs of higher management like directors/ cto's etc.
2. Monitoring/ micromanaging a resource to very lower level by closely and observing their day to day activities, when they are online and when they are not etc
3. Picking up and targeting one resource in team per every 6 months and putting him in hotseat.once done with that resource they move on with next resource in the team for next 6 months.
4. Although they don't mention at the time of offer that you have to work with US folks and as per their timings, once you join you will be working both in US hours and Indian hours. US hours (from 7:30 pm and till 12:30/1:30 am)to do the actual work with US folks and working in Indian hours to report work you did last night with US folks to report to Indian/local management.
5. Literally no benefits apart from insurances stuff.
6. Although you work in US hours, there will be no allowances afterall.
Based on this observations take your call wisely. Hope this helps!!
Exactly. I have never seen so much instability in higher management like in Wells. Dirty mindsets.
I have been working in wells from last 4 year I never encountered a single good manager and good tech stack project in here man so don't tell me every company has pros and cons ..I was just like to warn you only it's your decision only....now in market 80%of wells employee actively looking for switch

salary range 12 Lpa to 43 Lpa.
Lead software engineer
Salary Band : P4
Designation : VP
salary range 43 Lpa to 83 Lpa
For business LOB
Senior Consultant
Salary Band : P3
Designation : AVP, SAVP
Max salary 34 Lpa.
Lead Consultant
Salary Band : P4
Designation : VP
Max salary 57 Lpa.
Earlier, Salary ranges were visible in workday, but I don't recall the exact figures. The salary may ₹1 lakh (±).
These are fixed salary. Variable depends on teams 8-12 till last year. May be this year onward 6-10%

Can you please elaborate? Every firm will have some politics. I have heard that things have changed over the past year in terms of benefits and all, but to what extent?
Don't join wells if you want to do some quality work. They are way behind in terms of tech when it comes to data science and analytics.
