I want out of healthcare so badly but as the sole wage earner in my family I cannot afford to start over in an entry level role in a new industry. So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise. Getting life insurance so they drug tested me. Now they want me to fill out a form that basically asks me to certify if I’ve EVER done any of these drugs. What the? Who hasn’t EVER? What happens if I say never did? Idk my results from the drug test, maybe I smoked a bowl in the last few weeks, can’t say for sure. How does this work?

Thoughts on Wealth Management as an industry? Offered a role to work under a senior FA and eventually take over the book (~$800M AUM and growing). Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.
