I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Pay may not be so out of line, rank however kind of is. Have not really heard of many senior consultants making that much, that’s more inline with manager salary I believe.

Yup. Normally senior consultants around 120k
Sounds like a decent offer
Negotiate and get in at a manager level..

Consultant 1 - that is correct. I have seen it a number of times at EY. They bring in at a rank lower and want the person to prove s/he is ready for manager and will promote in 1-2 years. Ive seen people with 15 years of non-big 4 experience brought in as a S3.

This is an excellent offer. Normally senior consultants make around 120k.
I would push for manager level. I had 13 YoE (0 in consulting) before joining business consulting. I came in at about 220k base although I was in a specialty group.
