MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

Anyone lateraled at the 2-4 year mark from boutique (40ish lawyers, corporate lit work on same level as biglaw, making top NY pay) to v100? Can you say anything about the experience? The reason I’m considering is while boutique is generally a good place for me as an associate (NY pay, reasonable WLB, good experience on many fronts) there’s basically zero shot at making partner.

I’m really advanced with Excel and Alteryx, I even can create macros for my team and considered the technology rockstar. Do you recommend any certifications such as UIpath for my future career change? I’d also be interested in how to work for Google someday coding artificial intelligence and machine learning.

I got a promotion a year and 3 months ago, and got a pay raise 5 months ago. Could I still ask for a promotion to SAE if I have been supporting a team more as one? Promotions are hard to stab with.

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I make $101K base salary as a Consultant/Specialist at Accenture Federal in Washington, DC. My husband is a teacher making $55K. We’re getting by with our mortgage and regular student loan payments, but it’s not enough to do much else. We also want to start a family in a few years. What move could I make to hit $150K base? I have 6.5 yoe in rpa and my current organisation is capgemini with 16.3 lpa fixed ctc. Pwc kolkata is giving me 19 lpa with 75k joining bonus. I tried a lot to get at least 21 lpa but hr is saying for your experience 19 is the maximum limit. Should i accept offer or not?
