I have been working as a web developer for last 6 yrs but would like to pivot to data science & ML. Hence wanted to get some insights & advise from the people here who are already working in then same field about how to start with it, how will it affect my financial growth, what will work be like.

I am open for self-learning or learn by work, or trainings, workshops but don't think can do degree courses or anything that needs break from my job.

I have a low GPA because an abusive relationship during my schooling that kept me from focusing. I’m clear of that now, but I don’t know how to explain my low GPA going forward.

I am tech guy with almost 3yr exp, but I want to switch to a Management role. Going for an MBA is not possible for me. I was wondering about the possibility to switch to a management role within the next 2 years without an MBA. Company/Brand is not a bar for me.
