1. What CTC can I expect? Current is 13 fixed, 2-3 variable and 10-12% hike in March. 1.5 yrs work ex in corp strat role, manufacturing. Have a offer from IB entry level analyst role also (21 fixed). Also, have 2 lacs bonus I will have to pay back if I leave.

Asking for an increase this June to take me to $100,000 in some combination of salary and/or stock options. I’ve been at my company for 8 months. I just found out another designer who has been here for several years gets an annual bonus at the end of the fiscal year. I have never been told about a bonus and haven’t gotten one yet for the previous fiscal year that ended In July. Should I have been told I get a bonus when I signed on or are they typically a surprise?

What are some of the perks of working for Deloitte?

While Indian consulting folks supporting the US folks do the bulk of the analysis, churning out the data and making the ppts, all the US folks do is attend meetings. Most of know basics of neither Alteryx, Power BI nor Tableau, while everyone in India is expected to know all the three. Most of the times we are expected to work till their afternoon (our Midnight)

People in US tax who have pivoted to different fields, what field are you in, and how did you get into it?

Currently I have offers from 2 companies (say A and B), A is paying more but I want to join B (B is paying less but better brand). Planning to ask B to match salary that A offers. Have 2 doubts:
1) Does companies actually verifies the pay that the competition is offering? (Dont want to ruin my offer with A if B doesn't match the salary)
2) Will it impact my job prospects at A if it gets to know I tried to match their offer from a competition?
