Opening in Amsterdam ✨

Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

I have worked in Tcs as well as TechMahindra. Undoubtedly, go for TechMahindra. At TechM eventhough you have variable component it will be credited in monthly pay. Your take home salary is more in TechM compared to Tcs. Job security, projects and onsite opportunities both companies are good. One more major point to be considered is appraisal rating. Even though both companies have similar ratings and growth but in Tcs your ctc may be decreased if you get less rating. Sometimes managers has to fit all the team members in the appraisal curve so definitely one have to be given least rating to achieve that appraisal curve. So better go with TechM.
TechM has umpteen Government Projects which are good for the next 2-7 years. So from a recession point of view it's a pretty safe bet.
Chief
I agree as these government projects are definitely not from India.
Tcs
TCS because in Techm bench period is just 30 days and also they wont provide proper hikes not even 2%.
