PSA: I had a horrible experience applying for a job at Devoted Health. Applied online and then got asked to schedule a phone interview. On the day of the interview, I waited 20 min and nothing happened. I emailed the HR rep, he didn’t acknowledge or apologize and just told me to reschedule so I did. Advice for someone trying to enter healthcare consulting from hospital work? My friend is a registered dietician working inpatient at a city hospital. I realise this somewhat answers my question for this role, but curious in practice whether non-consulting exp. hires can come in at PL?

Wats your take guys ? I don't like hybrid model as it works for those who are locals of same city where the office is . For me i have to leave my parents, hometown and travel 2000kms to Bangalore for joining office how it is hybrid for me ? I still worry about myself and family health not sure about COVID. As there are no HR roles my rural area, I'm in a role at a healthcare nonprofit that has some HR elements but is not true HR. I am being asked to consider a ​lead role in quality with even less HR duties. I have 3 yrs. true HR experience and hope to relocate back to the states from Canada in 2-5 years to an area that I know will have more HR opportunities. I'm afraid I won't be marketable if I take this new role. So far apps to fully remote roles have been unsuccessful. Thoughts are appreciated.

I try looking into it online but google just lists a bunch of generic positions that doesn’t really help. In my current position I do a mix of A&A (Reviews and Comps) and the tax returns.
