I am surprised & shocked after knowing that, I am being paid less than d current freshers in my same domain profile. So, d anecdote is, I was unemployed for more. 3 month.. I got selected at many firms. However, Once I joined in my current firm. I got to know that, HR played very well. They provided d least compensation as per d market std. regardless of 3 year exp.. Even, freshers r getting way more than mine. This is disturbing to me. Any1 felt d same .. I need HRsthoughts.

I saw Knives Out this weekend and it was very good, highly recommended for forensic accountants—I had my auditor hat on the whole time and enjoyed the twist in the plot at the end.

An auditor myself, I constantly feel many ppl working at audit look down on ppl working in industry and other practices, which I don’t understand at all. Do they truly believe their job is superior or they just say so to make both you and them feel better about this job?

The thought of Attorneys talking down on Paralegals is sickening.
