I joined EY GDS in July 2025. At that time, I had 1.5 years of experience, and they offered a salary of 5.5 LPA, which I accepted as I didn’t have many options.
Recently, I came to know that new hires in the same position are being offered around 7–8 LPA. This makes me feel that I am currently underpaid.
With the upcoming appraisal cycle, is there any chance that my salary could be increased to around 7 LPA?What are the chances of that happening

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice? (Also I’m only 1.5yrs old in my career so I’m definitely still new, and I have previous experience as a project assistant).

What’s the best way to maximize having both the chase freedom unlimited and sapphire preferred?

For context, I’ve had the unlimited for 2 years and just opened the preferred because of the bonus offer. I will hit the $4k spending target, but after that, what’s the best way to use these two in tandem, given the unlimited rewards are all around much better.

Just wanted to brag a little. This may not be much for some but I’m super excited. I graduated with a B.A in chemistry July 2022 and I start my job this Monday with a salary of 60K! This is the most money I’ve ever made 😱😱. Really proud of myself even though I know some people would rather make more. I’m hoping to hit 100K within 3-4 years. Don’t give up recent grads!!

In the offer letter the "Provident Fund" And "gratuity" Is mentioned. In the salary calculation in hand, we will not consider these amounts right? As these components are received when someone retires..right? .. Please confirm.

I have read that many companies may provides candidates with a “golden hello” (sign on bonus) when joining the company. I’m not sure whether this is something that depends on the company, the seniority of the role or the industry of the role itself before I could attempt to negotiate this?
