I currently have 1 YOE in Data Engineering and BI Analysis. I have a B.Tech, MBA and some prior project, internship, and Datathon experience in ML and Statistical Analysis. I was wondering if things like a GitHub portfolio or additional certifications are important to transition to a Data Science role or if I should just start applying?

are there consulting roles within big 4 that dont require an IT background? for reference I majored in accounting and finance

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

What’s everyone using instead of Robinhood? I just learned of WeBull recently but am not sure it’s for me.
