At this point, if I’m leaving, I am done with consulting. I don’t want to go to any b4…
But therapy first
Word.
Coach
Not Deloitte
^this. I second that.
Accenture
Coach
Moral of this thread. Anything but KPMG
Pwc
Deloitte
I think the question is which big 4 will pay you more than EY
If you are anything less than a manager, then either Deloitte or PWC. If you are above manager and don’t think you can be a PPMD or don’t want to, then leave consulting. It’ll only get difficult to exit if you become a senior manager in consulting companies.
Manager yes. But you’ll see a steep roll off at senior managers. Especially if you never worked in a non consulting org people in the industry will regard you as a generalist. Especially if you’re trying to exit into big tech for similar pay or more.
As an ex-D, I would only go back to D. PwC has the cohort salary model which means I would immediately be taking a pay cut due to my high position in the salary band and KPMG, well it’s KPMG and I do Cyber work. If anything I’d rather go to Accenture
Not Deloitte for sure
I left Deloitte and wanted to go EY.
If I had to pick a B4 then probably Deloitte. Depends on practice/group
PwC would be the way
I turned down an offer from PwC because I’m done with Big 4. I’m never coming back once I leave
None.
