I’m a data analyst at publicis with 3.5+ years of experience. Leading a decent level project there.
Skills i acquired in these 3 years are - Excel, power BI & looker studio.
I have been applying to many jobs but no callbacks it’s just “ not moving forward maybe next time”.

I had an interview for an senior mgmt role at a bank and the interview was going very well. Beginning of the interview, she mentioned my resume was very impressive. She also said I was extremely intelligent and that I had a bright future; however they’re interviewing people with over 26 years of experience and would want someone more seasoned. I’m feeling super discouraged. Why bother with my resume at all?

I’ve had project management training in the 90s and I am getting certified with google. I am working as manager or temporary manager. Some of the staff I manage make exactly what I am making. Im jumping in to make everything work. So, I am thinking of returning to my background with spreadsheet gymnastics and project management. I accepted my Amazon offer on 5/23 via email as told by the recruiter who also took down my social via telephone and send me a old school pdf to fill out for a my background screening. At the time we decided on 6/13 as the start date. On 6/3 I received an email from Amazon’s version of docusign to sign my offer, and yesterday 6/8 I was notified by the recruiter that my start date would be delayed to 6/20 due to background not being completed. Transactional junior associate in biglaw. Working for a dedicated practice group rather than in an associate pool. For the past few months, I’ve been loaned to another practice group for a good chunk of time. While the people are decent and the hours aren’t terrible, I detest the work and don’t see a future in this new practice. My main partner says it should end in the next month, but I don’t expect that to happen. Is it a terrible idea to ask to be taken off?
