I'm still waiting for MPRE results next week. I do legal research and case analysis for my boss. I'm still getting paid 26 an hour. Can I ask for a raise since l've passed the bar or should I just wait after getting sworn in? I work in a solo practice law office with the lawyer & 3 other legal secretaries.

Is it good to get stocks as part of CTC which has 4 years vesting period?

CTC looks high due to this stocks but effectively i would not be getting it for the 4 years. Also the yearly hike includes this stock component.

CTC had fixed, variable and stock part. Variable and stock is almost 30% of total ctc.

Really confused if this is a good deal or is it a trap.

Anyone feel like your job sees you as "one of the good ones?"
