I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.

My post is for a lot of folks here who complain about managers not budging to negotiations and not offering package ,what you are expecting.I have one thing to say,there are lot of ibm employees who moved to kyndryl. Inspite of lot of contributions they are earning meagre salary.Now do you expect these people to hire you for more package most of time the package you are demanding is more than what these managers draw. So pls do not look at kyndryl as any other startup.Thanks.

Hope you guys are doing well. I am planning to join Kyndryl on band 7b for cybersecurity domain. Want to know how is the environment there in terms of job security, wlb and hike? There are mixed reviews all over the places reg Kyndryl so posting here to get insight form you.Kyndryl Inc.
Also anything else you would like to add is good for me to decide as I have to choose between Accenture and Kyndryl (I was with Accenture and know what I will be getting and work there).

When you get an offer from a company and profile of your choice and when you are mentally prepared that even if your current employer doesn’t offer a counter offer you can switch and will be happy with that job. If you are finding a job for counter then find one where you can go happily even if you dont get counter. And never show your current employer that you are looking for a counter .The moment they know that neither you will get counter plus the current employer will know that you are planning to quit which can hamper your future prospects in current company. Always show that you want to leave due to xyz reason and dont immediately agree to stay in the first conversation. Make it look as if you are doing a favour by staying and the company is giving counter to keep you happy.Try to pit down papers when your dependency is at the highest as that will ensure you get a counter.
When is the right time to ask 1 company (which I want to join) to match offer with the other when both have around same joining date
