How do you process the "salary remains unchanged" discussion while on maternity leave with a 3 month old in hand?

I'm not even motivated to go back to work at this rate. If I stay at home, I avoid nursery fees for a little longer, but funds deplet. If I go back to work early, funds are depleted by nursery.

I'm even tempted to take up a 2nd job without telling my employer just to supplement my salary, given that now I have a child.

If I had a traditional IRA before being employed in a 401k eligible role, can / must I roll that IRA into the 401k or can I leave the accounts separate without deleterious tax consequences?

2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I bought CER006 on Nov 21 with my current company email id and completed one certification. I am leaving my current organization and I still have 9+ months time left for CER006. My company says the s user id provided by them will get de-activated once I leave (in a week). I have not claimed the amount also. Is there any way I can transfer the certification to my personal email I'd so that I can write other exams in time left?
