Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Hi, I mean you could apply. But, why wouldn’t you apply in KL or Singapore first? Sydney is competitive with two top 20 universities with lots of local talent wanting limited MBB roles. I find it amusing that international folks think Sydney is an easy market to succeed in. It’s not at all. Quite fierce competition here actually. You’d probably have more success in London or NewYork.
Do you have any Australian residency or work authorisation?
If not - it’s a very tough sell, if I’m being honest.
Did you get your MBA from Oz ? You can apply for the PR if you meet the point reqs. Once you get your PR, you can apply for the job
I have an MBA from UK university and my undergraduate degree from Australian University.
