Hi, I am lateral entry, my joining date is in March, in between i want to ask anyone recently joined infosys as QA Automation tester? Will be there any coding assessment after joining infosys like codility or hacker earth etc in office during probationary period? If it is java coding related to selenium or playright with javascript would be good... But coding as like developers would be difficult for QA.

Accepting an offer in IBD, lateraling over from consulting. Opportunity of a lifetime for me so don’t want to lose it.
But timing is horrible. I joined the Army Reserves before this opportunity was on my radar. Interviewed over several months, got the offer, but shipping out in 1 month for training for 6 months.
Do I irreversibly shoot my career by joining and immediately going on LoA? I obviously haven’t mentioned it in the interview process. Or will this be forgotten a couple years in?
