It's better to move on
Hey don't be disappointed. Accenture has been doing this to ppl since a very long time. Many of my friends were told you are selected asked for documents and then sent out a rejection mail. I believe this is what they do to get documents from candidates
Usually Accenture does this, my two friends had faced exactly the same. so look forward don't wait for it
Same thing happened with me.
I received the offer letter after 6.5 months. When I already joined another firm.

Accenture always look for cheaper resources. And if requirement is not urgent then don't expect any updates going forward. My candidature is on hold for 3-4 months now. Just move on find Better opportunities.

Lesson learnt: if you want to get an offer letter even if you don't need to join the org. Never mention the absolute value for expected ctc. Instead just say that you need as per current market standards. By this atleast you will get an offer and use that for your further interviews. By the way how much you asked them?
What was ur skill, current and expected CTC.....
If u don't want u relieve the number can mention with X as current then expected as X + number

Deloitte and IBM did same with me. I asked only 50% hike and it was my first switch with 2.5yrs Exp. They said I'm already earning Max of their band so they can't offer more than 10% hike.
joined PwC last month with 35% hike and some joining bonus.
This happened within 1 month and I didn't apply to any others companies as these 3 Said, I'm already earning good.
So it happens don't worry, you will get much better offers. I will again start looking after one year because of CTC. 😅😅
Lucky for you.. at least you got a call from HR. I gave my technical interview in first week of December. Later I was asked to upload documents at end of December. Since then I haven't heard from them. I tried to log request in their portal and tried to call every one who contacted me during this process. But no one cares to respond.
Same happened to me, I got call after 2 months and offer a day later. Their process is very slow

I have faced similar issues with Accenture ,Infosys and Capgemini.
Last minute offer rejection. Should the company blacklist the candidate?
Even if you get the offer, please check multiple times whether they're offering you a genuine role or not. I was recently offered by Accenture and they completely changed my profile.
The same happened to me also. They are first asking to fill expected CTC. Then they comeback with other profile related to that budget. And if we are not willing to apply for those non development work.. they are saying we couldn't found suitable openings for you as of know.
