An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. I can speak fluently in any presentations or debates. But my words get struck in my mouth when it's time to reject anyone or anything.

Now comes the scenario where I have to reject the companies I don't wanna join.

I sent mail to all companies, big companies didn't even bother to call back. But one mid sized company HR keep on calling me and says I'm doing wrong and if I want he can counter my existing package or give me more than that.
