Hi! I’m a Colombian Pharmaceutical Chemist recently moved to the US. I’ve 3 years of experience in RA within Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Goods for Latin America markets. I want to get a job in US RA field. I’ve sent my resume for several RA openings but without success of getting an interview. I’d appreciate your advises on how not being ghosted by recruiters! I mean, how you got your jobs and what helped you to do so (most relevant info in resume, formatting, useful courses you’ve done) tks!

Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

Let’s talk comp — I’m a remote head of recruitment with 6 years of experience being paid 75K base plus bonuses that got me to 90K this year. I’m interviewing for other jobs, and have a potential offer at $130K base. Any idea what the market is like? Is seems like anything between 72K and $250K is possible. I have no idea what to ask companies for.

Got offered a role at a Middle East office at BCG - haven't accepted yet.
Anyway that I can transfer to a north American office (my current location) before I join? SO can't move to Dubai and while applying they didn't interview me for my current location just for the Dubai one.

I understand this may be a big ask, and I'm happy to interview again if need be.

Has anyone else worked two programming roles at one time?
I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. I definitely could use the extra paycheck to help out with my financial obligations. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this before.

Has anyone had an interview where the interviewer only asks 1-2 questions (with one of them being “tell me about yourself?”). The first round was the same and I made it through, so don’t think (cont.)

Seems like consulting is becoming less and less of an attractive field to be in, and people are leaving the industry in droves. Is this because of the pandemic? What gives?

First business trip in 20 months. TSA agent yelled at me for nonsensical reasons. I almost cried. I was worried things would change, but they are just as dehumanizing as always. Felt like home.

I interviewed with a company last week and the interviewer said he would submit my notes to the hiring manager and I would hear back this Monday from HR on next steps/if they want to move forward. I didn’t hear back yesterday so I emailed HR and she said she wasn’t part of the hiring decision so would reach out to the initial interviewer for his feedback. I haven’t heard from her and it’s been 24 hours - starting to get worried. What should I do? Does this mean they’re not interested?
