You are Lucky they didn’t fired you.
Man 😆
Forget about what is passed, have a plan for next. I joined 1 year before you. Guessing your age will be around 26-27 considering you joined as fresher. So, you have plenty options as of now. But choose wisely because after a few years - your options will be limited.
But I can point out few things:
1. IT is too volatile, you can't bound your skillset to a particular thing.
2. You cleared PIP with Java but don't to go coding, why?
3. TBH we are surviving, so can't go with what we like always 🙂, you have to be adaptive, and make yourself compatible with current demands.
If you frustrated with IT, you should consider career switching, but get allocated to any project first. Atleast you will be relaxed not to get fired.
So, take your own decision.
Hi bro i cleared pip but with the help of my colleagues I am not alone cleared that and I mentioned I don't like coding and can't understand the coding thats why I changed my domain to security testing (cyber security) after clearing the pip. In current organization i am getting project calls but due to client side issues they are removing testing in those projects currently I am putting more time to learn and for job switch.
I am sorry, but bench for 3 years , that too after joining as a java developer?
I had a friend who had similar experience for a year. They just hire to show headcount and when tired will simply fire you. Better search for opportunities. They won’t accept that it was their issue that you were not assigned some project but will blame you at the end when they want cost cutting.
Try in TCS and ask for a hike. They don’t have very strict interview process. Been there for 2 years.
3 years on bench is this post real my friend? I am super confused.
As u are in job please utilize the time to course being conducted by IITs and also somany courses offered by Foreign Institutions/Universities. This enables your CV for world vide jobs arena. Be confident.

You can switch to another company. Practic3 interview questions
You should work on any testing project and flexibility else they will fire 🔥 u
Bro chatgpt and claude is here now. It is easy. Prepare switch and work of any doubt use AI you will have idea to start then still issue work with your colleagues .. Why the fear? You don’t have any responsibility now no kids be fearless…
Learn Playwright and switch the company. Don't stick to one skill. Based on your experience they will ask questions, so prepare java programs with string, collections, other common interview questions. Try to utilise youtube, udemy and follow one course. All the best.
Switching to a solid startup where you learn new skills daily and thrive under tight deadlines is a great move. If you stay for at least two years, you will work on various projects and significantly enhance your knowledge of new tools and technologies. Afterward, you can join an MNC at a senior level with a high income and a significant salary hike.
Try somewhere else and move
In IT anything can happen if you prepare for interview, crack higher package and dont be worried about how u work just fo time pass lot of people are doing that , u dont judge yourself. In IT stupid people are working
Thanks for motivating me...ur words means a lot
Learn and resign to Infosys and try to go for another company
Even with getting a project from TCS will not give the boost a tech career needs.
Only If you'll think deeply about your current set of skills, pick one that works best for you, and hone it to become employable, only then you'll have a way moving forward.
My suggestion is to work on your self in terms of Technical, and, communication skills, have good attitude towards yourself, and prepare for your next job, given TCS experience wasn't fruitful.
Also, your next employer will not know whether you were on bench unless you tell them explicitly. Which you shouldn't do anyway
Hi, as one of our friend suggested utilise this time in upskilling and try to understand the requirements of GCC (Global Capability Centers), which are offering high salaries too. Be active and focus on learning. All the very best.
3.1 year total -
3 years on bench + 1 year waiting for project
Sumthing not matching .
Anyways you should have switched as of now . Now it’s high time look for better opportunities
3 years 10 month bro now 4...
When I joined as a fresher, after the initial training program, where I topped my batch in Java/J2EE program, I was on the bench for 1 year. After that, they gave me a L3 support project, basically customer service. 1 friend never got a project, and left the company, he learned everything on his own. Worked hard. Now he earns handsomely. Choose your career path. And work accordingly
Bro you have successfully wasted 3 years. As a fresher you could have jump quickly to some company by gaining some knowledge. At this point your salary on joining as fresher to now should have increased by x4 times. Don't waste more time and quickly jump to opportunities you see
You could have use people in your office to build networking and have jumped to some projects

First finalize in what area you want to work and then start preparing. It's very simple. I have done it. Non technical to Java Developer.
I am already brushing up on pen testing (security testing) I don't like coding thats why I learned pen testing even If I go to other company shall I survive or not? I am getting fear wasting of these 4 years...
