I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

You are Lucky they didn’t fired you.
Man 😆
Forget about what is passed, have a plan for next. I joined 1 year before you. Guessing your age will be around 26-27 considering you joined as fresher. So, you have plenty options as of now. But choose wisely because after a few years - your options will be limited.
But I can point out few things:
1. IT is too volatile, you can't bound your skillset to a particular thing.
2. You cleared PIP with Java but don't to go coding, why?
3. TBH we are surviving, so can't go with what we like always 🙂, you have to be adaptive, and make yourself compatible with current demands.
If you frustrated with IT, you should consider career switching, but get allocated to any project first. Atleast you will be relaxed not to get fired.
So, take your own decision.
Hi bro i cleared pip but with the help of my colleagues I am not alone cleared that and I mentioned I don't like coding and can't understand the coding thats why I changed my domain to security testing (cyber security) after clearing the pip. In current organization i am getting project calls but due to client side issues they are removing testing in those projects currently I am putting more time to learn and for job switch.
IT field is not for you...in 3 years u could have pulled it java
3 years on bench means they gave 3 years for you to prepare
I have new found intrest in Infosys... it seems safer than other organisations now
Just get in any project in your organisation so you can atleast talk abt experience

Unbelievable
I am an electronics and communication graduate. But i got trained in java so i will find security testing project. Untill i get so i will enjoy my 20000 per month salary is what I sense from your post. Get out there and get your hands dirty before its too late. I started my career from Infosys as java trainee and i did just fine. If you hate coding that much probably IT is not for you.
Why you did not utilised this time to learn something new like preparation for MAANG / FAANG or switch career in to AI or anything else ?????
what you did while being on bench?
