I just got an offer from an E verified company for a tour of duty contract (1099) position before getting hired as W2 full time Employee.
I am wondering if the contract role is qualified to stop Umemployment days count down.

The company agreed to sign i983 form and will provide supervision and training directly related to my degree.

I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

Any other ADs feel like our roles are starting to become just glorified graphic designers? Nothing against GDs I started as one but wanted to move into art direction cause I wanted to come up with 360 campaigns and make tv spots not resize banners and and make IG story posts.

There seems to be a Copywriters group, and a "Creatives" group, but not one dedicated purely to professional Art Driectors. So now, here it is!

So, what agency right now, is totally smashing it?

I need to get a new laptop, my 2015 MacBook is on its last leg. I need something that can handle cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Suite. I assume I’ll probably have to get some dongles.

I freelanced for an agency as an art director for 6 months and recently got hired FT. I am struggling with imposter syndrome on a daily basis but manage to get great feedback from the creative directors continuously but still feel the same way. I was put on a creative brainstorm and my ideas seemed so misaligned with everyone else's but the designs I did the client liked and I think we are moving forward with. Where does the role of art director begin and end? New to agency life. Any advice?

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

Where to go as an Art Director if you no longer wish to work at an Ad Agency? Ideas?
