Yesterday, I joined a resume workshop w/ an Accenture recruiter. She went through my resume and said that I have a strong one! I’ve also set up a coffee chat w/ her next week. Unfortunately, I got an email today from the system, they decided not to move forward :( Should I reach out to her abt this?

What if your second round of interview was average? Will there be 3rd round? Or you will be rejected and no the process will be concluded then and there? How long so they take to send rejection intimation?

I’m interviewing for a newly created position, Assistant Director of Communications & Outreach in my organization’s DEI office. Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. Does the recruiter typically wait for all candidates to finish their onsites before communicating a decision? Or if I haven’t heard back yet, it’s probably a reject?

Are cover letters important if they don’t ask for one? There are so many job postings and applicants I can’t tell if they would be beneficial to show effort or just a waste of time to write with how little time I assume people are looking at applications with the mass hiring going on. If I should be writing one, any advice how to format?

Working on a divorce where the father is claiming that he is unemployed because of the previous administration’s actions with DACA (he was brought to the States as a child). I know that the memo rescinding DACA was ultimately vacated—but OC is unsure whether this would count as voluntary unemployment for child support purposes. I believe it does as the application period to renew DACA benefits was reopened in 2020. Thoughts?
