Hi! I’m currently a start intern (rising junior) at PwC and I want to work in Management Consulting at PwC. However my interview for a return offer is for risk consulting/advisory. HR has made it pretty clear they put you where they want, thoughts on what I should do? I was thinking of potentially asking HR again with my resume (I believe I have a strong resume) but I don’t want to seem uninterested or overly pushy. Should I wait to ask to move after next year ? Looking for any advice! Thanks!

If you go for interview and you sort of know that the person interviewing you might be curious about something on your negative on your resume like why is there a gap or why were you in XX role for so long?

Do you address it pre-emptively? Or does that show insecurity and you leave the elephant in the room and wait till they ask you?

I guess this is more in the case of networking than interview like do you make your own story?

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .
