Hi, I’ve completed 3 years as H1B and just received extension for the next 3 years. My employer will file prevailing wage with the DOL in the next 3 months in EB3. I have heard that some FAANG companies start filing GC within 3 months of joining. I’m already studying to switch jobs. How much time do I have to switch jobs so that there is adequate time left for GC application?

I think the acronym FAANG is no more valid. It's now MAAMA (Meta, Amazon, Alphabet, Microsoft, Apple) 😅

Expecting to make around 100k TC with 2 YOE and an MS in the DC area. Data scientist, with actual ML experience (not deep learning, but otherwise working deep with the algorithms of classical techniques), not just basic business intelligence. Is this comp low for non-FAANG companies?
