Hi, recently received an email from Apple HR for cloud data engineering opportunity that I applied in May 2024. They mentioned they are happy to find my profile and can able schedule the interview with technical team.

Also asked some preliminary questions like name, current location, tech stack, skills etcc in the name of WIKI questions. I replied to that email with all the info.

When can I expect the reply back? And how many rounds will be there? Please reply.

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”

I recently gave 3rd round of interview with Gamma and it went very smoothly.
I answered every question even interview ended on a very good note andI was confident that I will definitely make it to the next round then after an hour later I got the rejection email.

I still am in shock what could have gone wrong. Seriously what could have gone wrong.

Any tips for a candidate who is currently in working in a bank in IT operations and interviewing for a tech company for a role they don't have technical experience at all? Moving from a BA position to another BA role but tech is completely different...

I have been giving interview from last 2 months and yet I haven't got a single offer and people here are getting multiple offers. Even if interview goes nice, I would get rejection mail.

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.

I really wish luck could be on my side.

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Seems kind of ridiculous for a business to want to waste so much time to find out after a handful of interviews that the pay isnt aligned with my needs ......

Thoughts on kindly asking your bridesmaids to please not give a gift? I am over the moon excited that my bridesmaids will be celebrating me and traveling for the wedding and bachelorette. I really do not want a gift from them at the wedding. Full disclosure, my fiancé and I have great paying jobs and my bridesmaids are grad students, artists, and teachers. How would you frame this?
