What is a decent ctc for overall 7 years experienced BA/consultant in Financial services domain (3.5yrs post MBA) in Singapore considering the cost of living in SGD?

Looking for an entry-level data analyst position in the DC area. Have a BA in economics & certification in Computer Science. Also 3 years of professional work experience as a full time marketing manager which I performed while attending school full time. I’m a self-starter and extremely driven. I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. Does where you get your masters degree matter? I’m in an online environmental science masters program at an expensive “name-brand” school, but have colleagues telling me I should transfer to a less expensive program to save $ because no one cares about where your degree is from. Aside from the cost of it, I like my program, and the fact that I’m now connected to an incredible alumni network. And not gonna lie, I like the clout. Thoughts?

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?
