I accepted an offer A a month back.
FS assurance a3, stay another year and get promotion? Don’t know if I see myself in funds. Thoughts? Pay isn’t too great either to stay
Currently a SC at Deloitte and got a 40% raise at another company but Deloitte management offering to give raise of 20% to keep me. What should I do?
Negotiating an offer with Amazon Canada. I'm based in Hong Kong (bank,director,12y). My base 1.08m HKD which translates to 180k CAD/140k USD. To count for tax diff (here: 15%, Canada: 40%), +40% to break even. I'm expecting +20% raise which can come from RSU. So: 180 * 1.4 = 252k CAD for base and 50k CAD for RSU. From glassdoor, this seems to be off the chart so what am I missing? If not for this then what role should I look for FAANG in US or Canada for this range?
Guys, i was working in a KPO on Australian accounting and taxation for the past 2 years. Now I've joined BNY Mellon, during interview the interview person told that process is NAV calculation and Balance Sheet reconciliation. It's already three week training hasn't started. While setting up lap i got an opportunity to discuss with a team member, he mentioned the job is more like a drag & drop and has no growth. Can someone suggest how to raise this issue with the TL?
I have a client who is an emerging growth company. This will be the 1st year we’re looking at their SOX controls. The internal audit department who designed & tests the controls reports to the controller (not the board). Does this mean that we can’t rely upon their work since there isn’t a distinct independence between IA and Mgmt? Want opinions before I raise as I can’t find clear information & my peers do not know.
Are ISPs going to raise home internet prices?
Ahhhh yes EY, spend millions on a Super Bowl commercial rather than give your employees a raise. Woohoooooo

Is it bad to start looking right after being promoted to senior? Or should you wait a year? I want a promotion under my belt but want to gtfo asap.
My roommate (not on FB) was up for promotion at Accenture this year but HR never asked for a review from her prev project (hasn't been on current one long) and she didn't get it. What should she do?
Need some insight — I’ve been talking to a guy who is pretty cool and we vibe well. It’s still early stages so nothing serious, but sometimes I can’t tell if he’s being self-centered in conversation or just trying to impress me. What are some indicators I should be looking for and is there a good way I can raise this with him? For context, he definitely expresses interest in me and my opinions, but he’s often one driving the conversations and we end up mostly talking about topics he brings up.

What percent of the workforce do you think is actively competing for a promotion during evaluations vs. just coasting and collecting a salary?
This question was copied and pasted from a comment. I don't own the credit, but I want to know.
Just got my first promotion. My family lives in Europe & is asleep so I just needed to share this. 1 year in & this feels great. Ain’t much but honest work!
Can anyone share the capgemini promotion levels with approximate time spent and comp at each level please!
Any tips on asking for a pay raise? Ive been working so hard and getting great feedback... but struggling so much to afford daycare and all of our normal expenses while still trying to save.
Putting in my 2 weeks today for an awesome opportunity that results in a huge pay raise. Only negative is I’m the lead senior on a job that files at the end of April. New job is adamant about me starting in a few weeks. Wish me luck in telling my team! Extremely nervous for their reaction. Hate that I’m burning bridges but seems like I have to.

How do I know if my 401K plan allows for mega backdoor contributions? I have it through Fidelity, but not sure how to figure out if my plan allows for it
Going to start in PwC India as an Associate. Tell about the growth opportunities and perks in being a part of PwC India

Just found out a grade school peer of mine is now a Director at KKR. Going to hit him up to ask him or pay off my debt. Jk. But seriously, so curious to know how much he would make in that role?
My joining is on 28th July in Accenture, I just got the countdown email and I sent my address details for laptop. If I receive my laptop late will it affect my DOJ? In simple words, I hope I get paid from 28th July and not from the time I get my laptop from Accenture
Anybody knows about this by any chance?
I’ve been working for a little over 2 years now. At what point do you break and become numb to the pain of working? I can’t stand waking up in the morning and wondering when that will wear off.

I have a friend who is currently a Quality Engineer in pharma and looking to make a career switch into a role in commercial. Their undergrad was in Biology and they have 10+ YOE. Will they need to go back to school to make the switch, or will recruiters be willing to give them a shot based on their “unique” background?
If a campaign you worked on won a lion but you weren’t a main team on it, do you still put the lion in your book??
Hi all, I received an offer from Amazon non-tech L6 strategy role in Singapore. TC 220k SGD including sign on and RSU. I have 6YOE.

I’m currently a healthcare recruiter, new to the industry (9months) I was in sales, and customer service management before this. When I started, it was a lot of them questioning why I was always worried about what they were going to say etc and then reassuring me that I didn’t need to worry about it. (PTSD from prior job) Now I’m being written up for things I didn’t do (or rather did and they say I didn’t) or that aren’t SOP. I have provided information proving I’m right. But idk what to do now.
Anyone know someone who moved from BigLaw to BigFour consulting? What’s the major differences, other than I assume a large paycut?
