Never receive any response or feedback from the recruiting team when applying. To me, this means that they never look at it. And if they do, not sure why I never get a response. Strongly believe I have relevant experience to get an interview at minimum.

Recruiter emailed and told me that I applied for the wrong job because it was a more creative role - I have a creative background and education... anyone else feeling pigeon holed?

I have been in production for 10 years but all of it has been done through my own production company (which was basically just me)

Should I just list the relevant projects instead of saying I have 10 years experience as a Senior Producer or Executive producer on my resume?

Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.
