Been working remote since the beginning of the pandemic. Back in the office in January and trying to finalize childcare. Recruiters connecting with me for new job opportunities. Scared to even consider a shift out of my current company where I may have some flexibility bc I've been there for so long, but they're dragging their feet with giving me a well deserved raise. I still remember how excited I was getting selected at Infosys. This was my first job. For whole one year, I dreamt of joining Mysore campus. I was living my dream life. With 17k in hand, i felt rich and more satisfied😇
But now, evrything seems so less. Even with good amount , it feels unsatisfactory. That urge to gain more is never ending. I was living my best life at 17k but not now. Money is needed but utilizing it properly is more important. Chase happiness, not money. Happiness is underrated.🙂

How should someone go about making a transition from consulting to tech? . MBA good college, tech background (all consulting/mostly implementation and tech strategy), big 4, entrepreneur (non-tech) had successful exit. Almost no network at tech and very well networked in consulting. Need somewhat senior role( who cares) but need at least $350K. Need to be much more for high cost areas.
