I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

With 11 years of experience, you must be looking for a leadership role - senior manager, or director or even VP.
AmEx has much-much lower attrition rate as compared to Citi, JPMC, and Wells Fargo - hence, it has a large pool of internal talent waiting to just fill these leadership roles. Because of this only entry level roles (Analyst and Senior Analyst) are filled from outside.
Honestly, we people worked internally never got any feedback so how people from outside can expect they can get feedbacks. I do understand your side of story and I believe they should at least gave feedback and response but that's what it is
