That's definitely low. Time to find somewhere else! Don't accept a counter from your current employer when they offer one, as they clearly don't value you as an employee if you've asked and been ignored.
Are you in a small market? That pay seems insanely low. That’s below my entry level pay when I started in Ad tech in 2015. I think it’s time to start recruiting and jump ship.
If you feel like your being under compensated it’s at least worth looking into other jobs and seeing if they offer a big enough bump for you. And by the time you hypothetically had another offer, you’ll see what the company wide raise is if it will be finalized in weeks like they say.
Entry level marketing jobs pay poorly in general so for me personally it was worth getting paid ~$35k (in 2015 though) to work on big accounts and advance my career in the long run
Most entry level in Marketing/Advertising pay at least $20 hr. You should definitely put your LinkedIn open to work on for flexible browsing. Recruiters will usually come to you if you don’t want to necessary apply to jobs. You already have one year of experience you should be paid more, you Deserve better! You should message me if you are interested at working at an agency I can give you a referral. Also I graduated last year so I understand.
Where are you based? My company may have some remote positions opening up if you are interested in applying you can dm me.
Are you making that hourly - meaning you aren’t salaried so all those extra hours you tend to work at the entry level are compensated?
