So I’m a Digital Marketing specialist atm with 2 YOE and im looking forward to switch into the world of AWS. Currently working and studying to crack the AWS cloud practitioner cert followed by AWS Solutions Architect after I develop confidence cracking AWS CP cert.
I need help so as to understand how should I make a proper switch where I can utilise my 2 years of Digital Marketing experience while applying for a job in the cloud field.

I switched to a new technology (Java) and joined a new org. Answered almost all the questions correctly in the project interview. ..... Now after finally joining the project after 3 months I found out the person who took my interview don't even know java and probably just googled theory interview questions and answers.

I talk less also. So now everyone in my team is thinking I am an expert but actually I need a lot of guidence.🌚

What can I do now? Ask for release?

I haven't received offer letter even after waiting for more than 16 days, i have given more than 10 interviews till now and have 4 offers but this one is taking a lot time giving a high rise to my expectations but am losing hope from this..can anyone suggest how much time usually it takes to roll out letter...please.

Question: I am on an AE Hiring process. the HR said the salary range is 60k to 70k plus commissions and bonus. I told them, I am looking for 80k, considering my current salary and experience. So far I already had 3 interviews, things are doing well, only one more. Do you think usually companies can go high than the salary range, even though they told me the salary was less than I am expecting?

Hi 🐠!! I am currently starting to study for GMAT/GRE. My goal is to attend a top 10 mba program, so I know the averages are high (740 GMAT, 330 GRE). I took practice GRE and GMAT (100% cold with no studying or brushing up on my quant) and got a 153V and 149Q on GRE vs. a 500 on GMAT. I know a lot of people say that schools have no preference but I know it is more common to submit GMAT over GRE. Despite doing better on practice for GRE, is it still better to study GMAT?

About to graduate, looking over my options within political advocacy/gov relations positions… I have one campaign under my belt and have worked under two reps at the statehouse. Its difficult to narrow my search and find which jobs I’m eligible for. Most require 3-5 experience so I’m just applying to things in the hopes that they recognize my work during college as experience.

How’s life at VSA Partners?

1st year/stub in Texas. I was a summer at my firm in both 2019-2020. Thought I preferred litigation, and told the firm that last summer. Had a change of heart, and in April of this year asked the CTO to switch to transactional. However, she said they didn’t have a need for another junior in transactional. Now I’m in lit and hate it. Can I ask to switch again? When would be the best time to do so? Or should/can I lateral as a 1st yr? I like my firm, just don’t want to start my career like this

AWS Developer -Deloitte USI - 15fixed + 0-10% Variable + 4LJB (retention bonus) 2. Sr security Analyst - AWS IAM - Sony India software centre - 17.5fixed + 3L Variable. Im very much interested in AWS Developer role but scared of WLB at Deloitte. Sony have a very good reviews and pay also better only concern here it is cloud security and limited to only AWS IAM.

Hi all, I joined as a traine in devops engineer 1 yr back. My LPA was 1.2. after 1 yr Now I have a LPA of 3.2.
I have no developer background. I joined just after college at that time. Now I have experience with major devops Technologies. even after 1 year of devops I am still confused if I should follow this way or learn development like my classmates who earnings more than my current LPA in their first year. Hi All, Am a developer mainly working with SQL and I want to move to AWS (devops), so I started to learn & practice few tools such as terraform, saltstack, prometheus, etc.
But I do not have hands on a live project, any ideas if companies would take in beginners in AWS ? Even though there are cloud projects in my domain it is a bit difficult to get into those projects as my lead & manager give me the standard answer "you're a critical resource for our project" :(
