HireVue - appears to be interview scored by AI?!

Relatively early in my job search, I’ve been invited to interview with what seems to be an AI program that will record and score my answers to interview questions. No human interviewer on the other end.

I’ve never encountered this before - I feel a little offended. Is this the new normal, and do I just need to get used to my new AI overlords? Or should I skip this invitation?

Has anyone here used a professional resume service? Would recommend again or not worth it?

Any resume writer referrals? I’m trying to make the jump into project management. I have 13YOE managing cross-departmental projects and people, and I’d like to shed the general EA work of calendars/travel/expenses. But recruiters just see my most recent role is EA and that’s all they want to talk to me about. I’m hoping a better written resume will help target algorithms to get my resume viewed for other roles.

🐠, need opinions/advice. Persistent recruiter asked me to consider having an exploratory convo with a company for a VP role even though I’m not looking to make a switch. That casual convo has morphed into two interviews this week, one with an SVP and EVP and one with the global head of the practice. It would be a $65k bump in salary. Worth going through with it? Should I mention that I’m not actively looking to leave my current job? Been here 6 months…

Why do recruiters seen zone your messages on Linkedin after you ask them for an opportunity to work in their company?

Just say NO, Sorry your skills are not a match, don't ignore. You were also candidates once.

Worse they say We'll check or get back to you. But never come back. Luckily I got selected into a tier-1 company and their Recruiter ignored me once 😂. I am gonna personally meet that recruiter on Day1.
