I've never heard of anyone exiting to Slalom for the comp trajectory...
Slalom has terrible exit ops to industry unless you make it to there MD equivalent. Seen former SMs move over and couldn’t make it and now had to restart their career in industry at like a banks AVP level. Seems like industry players really do not value the brand name at all.
I’ve seen a lot of them exit to their partner companies (AWS, Google, Databricks, etc.) Just need to be on the right engagement.
if you think accenture is bad… Slalom is…
Rising Star
… great?

That’s a downgrade. I hope they are bumping up your level and pay.
Slalom is a dumpster fire with a new accelerant every other day. Seems they are focused on hiring AC-SC and not promoting P+ to get to a triangle org model. You will most likely have leaders who are burnt out and jaded, looking for their way out. (I am part of an over performing team that has failed to promote several people for two plus years. Leaders are leaving left and right.) They are also changing performance metrics without clear paths to promotion / essentially demoting people and introducing metrics that many suspect will drive poor behavior/bad culture.
If you don’t mind tired leaders (or manage to find the few that are still enthusiastic), and staying at SC for a few years, probably better WLB than Accenture. Likely less defined path to P than you’d have at Accenture tho.
I’ll admit “dumpster fire” might be a bit extreme 🤣. But I stand by the rest as an accurate representation of my experience and that of my peer’s.

Are you leaving for the comp or the path forward?
Comp. Optimistic for path forward but I’ve seen mixed reviews about it over there
Honestly stay at Accenture, it’s brand name and very reputable
160 base + 10k bonus as a SC at slalom
Please don’t share market. Not representative of typical offer.
Accenture is good in name and reputation because no one outside those who have worked there understand how much of a dumpster fire it is. I left for honestly not that much of a comp raise and haven’t regretted it for a second.
