Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

What does it mean if you have gone through two rounds of in-house interviews, provided an excellent reference, advised there was only one other candidate, and then it appears the job is still posted/re-posted, but you have not been given an answer? I’m trying to hope for the best but really assuming this means I was not selected. Please give me some hope I’ll make it in-house one day.
I have a final round interview at ClearView this week. I am very scared by the terrible Glassdoor reviews and the comments on this bowl.... Current/former CV consultants, is it as bad as it seems?
Need some advice on how exactly to 'have multiple offers'. I am almost at the final rounds of 2 companies and mid/early stage of 3 companies. Salary discussion hasn't happened anywhere yet, but might happen anytime..
now if the nearly closing one rolls out the offer,
1. how do I gain time till i finish the interview rounds of oth companies?
2. Will the company expect to accept/decline the offer in 1-2 days?
3. How do you all usually stretch 1 offer acceptance till you secure more offers?

I have tried the tactic of CCing their managers, but this still hasn’t solved the problem. Also, the GC was telling me he has tried that and the CFO occasionally will get angry telling him not to harass his team…

Feeling pretty frustrated. I got a new job a year ago. I have an amazing boss and love the work. I was supposed to move to one city but never did because of the pandemic. Now my boss has a new boss who wants me to move to a different city where most of our team is. HR is refusing any moving assistance because I “should have already moved.” I repeatedly asked about moving and was told to stay put. My boss is advocating for me but it’s a F10 so little movement. Why are HR departments like this 😒
Just need validation that I’m not the only one annoyed when sales chronically sends an email for a doc review and then follows up right after with an IM saying they sent the email. The reviews aren’t urgent. Bless them but it wears thin feeling like the conduit for their nervous energy.

A criticism of firm attorneys I see re: transition in house is that they don't think like a business person. My SO is in house and I feel like I have a decent sense of the requisite mindset and considerations and how it differs from a firm Would it be tacky to say something to this effect in cover letters or interviews ?

I started a new job back in September. A recruiter from my dream company which I interviewed with in 2019 just reached out that they are interested in me for a new role and would like me to interview. I was going to at least take the call with the recruiter and see what they say but I already have stress about what that means if it progresses forward. Is this crazy should I just tell the recruiter I’m not interested?
Looking for hope/motivation: Is it possible to move in house to a private equity firm with a non-traditional background? Have an MBA (not top but nationally recognized) with several years non-practice industry (risk/compliance/research) experience prior to being barred and currently at a boutique firm doing securities/private equity/Corp. looking to possibly move as 3-5 yr associate. I know anything is possible but not coming from big law and the non-traditional background make me question it.
