Quality brief writing. I don’t care how good the prompt is, it just can’t capture the nuances

I’m in house and AI could never figure out the unspoken organization chart of a company. There’s a difference between who is in charge on paper and who is in actually running the show.

And understanding the nuances of any legacy entities and how they were all handled differently but you can’t tell by looking, you have to know and feel they would have been handled a certain way.

Make Trish in Marketing feel “uncomfortable” and “scared” when I point out that what she is suggesting could result in criminal liability.

Sales. Specifically in the context of being a closer or "rainmaker". Yes, I understand that A.I. salespeople will exist. However, my argument is the human connection 1-1 will become increasingly more valuable as A.I. takeover progresses. Anything related to the "human touch" will not just be missed, but demanded.

If a six or seven figure transaction is on the line, there will be human to human interaction involved. Including the ability to close a deal. I don't see most companies, or clients, sending in a bot to close deals. At least not in my lifetime.

Hi folks, I am looking for help with a career pivot. I am currently a startup founder looking to get into an early-stage high-growth tech startup in London and would love to guidance on where to start.

My current startup, although we have seen some success has not found the momentum required. I would love to take all of the energy and skills I have acquired to help grow another interesting high-growth startup, ideally under 10 people that would give me skin in the game. Where to start?

Currently at a super conservative defense firm. I do really well but keep getting the criticism that I tend to just do things on my own initiative. I’m just predisposed to being decisive and rather autonomous. Besides being a solo atty, where would this skillset be better suited? Plaintiffs work?

I've recently went to a restaurant and saw a robot waiter, I thought that was the coolest thing. What do you all feel about this shift in the restaurant industry?

I’m so bad at writing the background/ facts section for briefs… it always gets heavily edited and no one is giving me constructive feedback other than “advocate more”. In contrast, my legal argument section is generally without edits. For context, first defense lit job post appellate clerkship. Is this normal?? Any tips for getting better other than “advocating more”?

2) Am200 firm with 1750+ billable hour requirement, less reputable in the region because it’s a satellite office, pays $35k less than option 1

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I’ve been super stressed about it and don’t know how to move on to May with the proper mindset to make up for as much time missed as possible. CA courts are still closed, and I’m worried I won’t be able to exceed (or even meet) my May goal after April.

Transactional associate. Lateraled 6 months ago and one of the biggest pain points has been my new firm’s inclination to “hop on a call”, which of course requires every single stakeholder to join. The end result being every call has 25 people on it and nothing actually gets done because no one wants to ask a question that could come off as silly. It’s destroying my ability to get anything done during the day. It’s a complete performance and it drives me nuts.
