How are everyone's hours for February? Only 28 days in the month such a gut punch.

20 working days is pretty in line with the rest of the year.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

I would rather not think about it. If I don't think about it, the problem doesn't exist, right? That's how it works?

A3 - are you ok?! Wishing the best for you.

In house. No billable hours thank god.

122 hours 😪

like

Yes, I have about 120~ billable hours but 60 nonbillable hours for partial holidays and firm events. But no one cares about the latter so.

like

221 short month AND I felt like I did 300 this month. Total ass

like

Billable is at like 185ish. Total including nonbillable and pro bono is at like 225. Slight chance I'll add more today...pro tip if you work on the weekend it doesn't matter if the month is short 🫠😭

305. Had a two-week trial and immediately had to defend six depositions in two weeks. Not great, Bob.

likesmart

People at my firm do this all the time. As someone who has taken 0 depositions (second chaired a few though) and has never had a witness at trial, I am in awe of this schedule

Mine are low for Jan and Feb but (~75-80%) but I’m sure the rest of the year will make up for it!

like

I am at 130 something (150 requirement) and suffered a miscarriage this month so was out a day. Trying to not feel bad about it if that shows how messed up this profession is 🫠 Also had a low January.

like

Please take time for yourself. Having a low Jan/Feb Is nothing to panic about, especially in your situation. I have had several low 100s Jan + under 100 Febs and made bonus anyway. You have plenty of time to catch up to not fret over this.

Gut punched, as well. Such a strange month.
