I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

I make 110 with loan payments and a 3200 mortgage. I still save and I’m very comfortable in Atlanta - you need to look inwards
110k with a 3200 mortgage is a bit much.
Same time if 2k is too much at 135k I’d try to live in a cheaper area or non luxury apartment. Or get roommates, there are so many options to cheap out in ATL

In Midtown on $118k in a 1/1 for $1250. Not saying you aren't trying hard, but maybe look outside the huge leasing companies. There are tons of options in town that aren't budget busters, you just have to look!
If 2k rent is truly a problem for you at that salary, you may need to reevaluate your lifestyle

What A1?! 🤣 My family lives here…always has lmao
You live in those high rise buildings in and around Midtown. That view comes at a cost 💰
I pay 1380 for a whole place. You should move north towards Sandy springs
Maa Brookhaven is nice. I've been there a couple of times.
So the rent is not the issue. The real burn you are feeling is the 1500$ sent to family. Understand from other messages that, that is a necessity so I understand. But just saying that it is not because of the rent.
Thanks for the words of wisdom A1 🤣
My mortgage is about that and I make substantially less than you, but will say not having a car payment/lease helps tremendously.
How timely. Just saw this article from Suze Orman.
Aside from location… Being mindful of expenses, budgeting and additional income/side-hustles
I live in Smyrna, I rent a 1B1B for around $1600-$1700 (monthly fees change on a month to month) and I make waaaayyyyyyyyy less than you, have student loans and I’m making it work. Wish I made $135k that would literally change my whole life…
Look into Reynoldstown. It's walkable and more affordable.
I don’t think we can really say what’s affordable for you because we aren’t aware of your spending.
I bought a condo in Brookhaven in 2021. My rent then for a 1/1 was $1700/mo and my condo is $1700/mo for a bigger 2/2.
Have you thought about getting a roommate?
Oh it definitely was. My condo has appreciated about $100k. But there are still things around Atlanta for around $250k. Idk what the new payment would be with today's interest rates but if you bought a 2/2 and got a roommate might be a good option if you can swing it. Or rent a 2/2 with a roommate!
You can buy a nice big house paying that amount for rent obviously your credit is good so I would consider buying and you will save a whole lot of money i have a five bedroom two and a half bathroom my mortgage is 1400 I live outside of the city in Douglasville
