Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Not too bad, but you got to manage it yourself. No one is watching out for you and if you don’t take FTO, that’s on you. I manage out at least 3 weeks through out the year and I know if I need to take an extra day here or there, I don’t sweat it. They gave us the week of Christmas off last year too. We also still get sick time, so it doesn’t add to your FTO hours.
We found out that we got Christmas off like the week before so anyone with plans already booked FTO
What's FTO vs PTO
Unlimited time off. FTO - flexible time off With great power comes responsibility.
That’s good to know. Are there any other usual perks that you know of (like free phone, gym memberships, quarterly mentoring lunches, etc.)? I’m thinking about jumping over there
Phones are given only to managers and above. However if you’re an associate or senior and you use your phone for work then you can get up to $50/ month. There is a gym perk I think $25. Oh and FTO is a bit tricky... yes you can take all the time you want but you need to make sure your utilization hours are not affected which they will be. So you’ll need to work more hours to make it up. And if you’re on a project where contractually you can’t make up the hours, then you’re out of luck!
Utilization is the main target for the firm right now, so if you are willing to work ridiculous hours for a while, you can take weeks of vacation off. You don’t have any vacation payout when you leave the firm though, so most people take advantage (taking weeks off) right before they leave
