It's not ideal, but it's not that big of a deal. It helps if people can explain their short stints in a cover letter, or at least acknowledge them somehow so we know that they are serious about staying for the long-term.

i also think its more and more common these days! as long as you have one or two longer stays to show you can tolerate that

Short stints do raise questions, but context matters a lot more now than it used to. Layoffs, restructures, and short-lived startups have made career timelines less linear. What hiring teams usually look for is whether the moves make sense when you tell the story and whether there was real impact in each role.
I've always hated that you barely get to explain why you had to switch jobs so often unless you make it to that rare interview. The irony is, after all the tech layoffs, there's tons of us with these weird resume gaps or 6-month jobs, and recruiters still get suspicious, even though they know what happened. Huge catch-22.
In my experience, making each stint sound intentional and focusing on the skills and achievements you added at each place helps - like frame it around what you learned or contributed in that short time. Some companies only care about what you can do for them right now anyway.
Lately I've run my resume through ResumeJudge and a couple others like Resume Worded and Jobscan, just to see how they handle the short job lengths and keyword matching before I apply. It's honestly wild how much difference the phrasing and keyword choices make for getting noticed.
Are you mostly applying for direct tech roles again, or switching it up? Sometimes the trick is customizing the bullets for each job so you pass the scan but still look like a human. If you find a better fix for the "short stint" stigma let me know, I’m always tweaking mine too.
