About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

Take up software testing courses at udemy.com should cost you less than $20. This is just to make you familiar with how any sort of testing works. Understand the requirements of the role of any QA tester. Don't be focused on games. You need to know the basic of QA.
You need to learn to write bug reports.
Apply for game studios and mention those keywords from the Udemy course on your resume. Game projects will have it own sets of training on the job in the 1st week or so to get you up to speed.
But having the basic knowledge of testing softwares, will help you crack the interview. It is not just about playing video games, it's about recreating the bugs and writing reports and helping the development team to fix it.
You will be paid low for the first 2 years or so. But eventually you will reach great heights.
Hope this helps you.
Apply for entry level quality assurance roles with game studios that are local to you. Make sure to polish up your resume and your LinkedIn as best you can. Look for samples online to compare yours against and edit accordingly.
