AlixPartners can you please share about the TC and WLB for new parents?
I'm approached by the AP recruiter and in the final interview process for an SVP role (digital practice).
Already have two other offers (Strategy @ Walmart, 300K TC, and Marketing@ Amazon, 220K TC). 10 YOE
1. Will AP's SVP TC be higher than $300K? What's the breakdown?
2. Would you choose AP over Strategy @ Walmart or Marketing @ Amazon?
3. How difficult is it for new parents? I still want to spend time with my newborn.

AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon
My company, Pegasystems, is agressively hiring for Senior Solutions Consultant (presales) positions nationwide. If you are interested in working for an amazing company with market leading products and a great culture, please message me. Happy to discuss further. I am in the same situation actually. I've been feeling very mundane and like everything is a routine lately. I think I'm going to take a vacation somewhere I've never been and refresh my mind. I'm also going to challenge my self at work with things I don't know yet. This way I can keep learning and growing. I hope one of those two options might help your scenario as well. Let me know how it goes
How about your goals? What are you working towards? Do you have a debt you want to pay off or a house you want to buy? For me, goals really motivate me and make me excited.
I think it’s normal for motivation to ebb and flow. I don’t worry about it too much unless the mood hangs around too long. I double down on connecting to the company’s mission, the opportunity to help a coworker, and if all else fails, I think about the paycheck and my pursuit of financial freedom.
Perhaps your mind and body are telling you that you need a vacation to recharge your batteries. Trust me, you don't want to get so burned out that it hits a point where you fall into a deep state of depression and don't want to anything such as getting out of bed. Take a mental break if you need to, speak to your manager(s) about your situation and hopefully they can let you take some time off to recharge.
I would hate to put a label on anything I’m going through. I don’t know about you. But if you don’t feel rewarded by your role then maybe you need to figure out what would make you happier. Is it your role per se? Or is it the investment in you by your company?
Try learning something new you can apply to your job? That might give you an angle to get you excited.
