How difficult is it to lateral into MBB at the Consultant level from the Big 4 at Manager level? Are we looked down upon by MBB recruiters? No advanced degree but rapid promotions, CS UG, and interesting work profile over multiple territories. Do we need to ‘make up’ for anything?

But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role).
