How do I tell if a Cab Franc is bad? Recently opened a 2019 from Davis Estates after enjoying an Austin Hope Cab Sauv (my go to) and the cab franc had a lot of sediment/crystals on the cork, despite being stored properly. The nose on the cab franc almost smelled fishy, not pleasant at all. The palate seemed fine but the smell was so off putting that I poured the wine out.

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer.
