I‘m planning to work abroad in the United States during the next year (staying in consulting) - I‘d like to grow as a person by moving out of my comfort zone and of course also extend my technical skillset. As you guys already have a strong post grad talent market I find it hard to identify certain positions where they might prefer a foreigner (German). Do you guys have any tips how to succeed ? Work Visa sponsorship is always a topic…

Does it affect my VISA or entry to the US? Or should I call them to check the status of my status tax return? Please advice

Does anyone have any recommendations of career coaches or where to begin to research legit ones? As realtors, our worst and best friend are the contractors, being friends with the contractor that remodelled a home you are going to sell is a plus because you can know for sure what kind of improvements were made to the house and why; and what kind of things are pending to be improved, that way you can provide real information to the client. You know what they say: a happy client always comes back to you.

We have sales people in Canada and the US, the Canadians make 150K CAD and down here it’s 150K USD, the Canadians argue they should be making 30% more than the US colleagues to be equal bc of the exchange! I explain the salary is dependent on the market data for them in Canada, WHERE THEY LIVE, and you can’t compare it to the US employees and the market data down here. Overall they are both in the 75th% for total comp. for their industry. Am I wrong?
