Just tell them your day rate. It's not like your work gets less valuable over time, so as long as they can roughly calculate how long they need you, there shouldn't be an issue.
I do know of some friends that will present their day rate and then offer an ever-so-slightly discounted monthly rate, which seems to work for them, but i've never done it.
Go in with your day rate. Because they can cut you at any time, if project or client is cancelled. If they want to negotiate with a firm contract and commitment, start with your day rate. Don’t cut yourself short from fear.

I’ve had 3-4 month “long term” projects get cut to 3-4 weeks. You’d hate to think about that long term discount rate you gave them when stuff like that happens.

It’s not that big of a number for a company as it is for an individual. Don’t worry.
Also you can still write the quote as a day rate. They can do the math to get a total.
Eg. $XXXX per day for 20 days. Weekend days as agreed at same rate.
