How do you communicate about burnout with your manager? What about when you’re aiming for a promotion?

I’m a team of one and have been so for close to 2 years now. I’m a high performer in a pretty specialized role but essential role and doing this job alone is overwhelming.

I’ve been vocal about asking for more people, but I’m feeling very burnout and need some sort of change at work to hold me over.

I have a business idea in the VR/AR space utilizing AI. However, I lack skill sets to evaluate viability or to create an MVP. Neither do I have a network to tap into.

My plan is taking classes to deepen my knowledge while joining and actively participating in communities to find collaborators.

Does this approach make sense or do you recommend other approaches? If it makes sense, do you have any recommendations for classes or communities?

Full time Pharmacy Tech in Pittsburgh and I make $16.50/hour in a retail setting. I've been doing it for over 3.5 years. I am 25 years old - have been in the ‘mortgage underwriting profession for 2.5 years. I have heard some things about getting stuck in a specific assets class and mortgages when pursuing underwriting. Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.
Now manager is threatening me that I will be placed under no hire to IBM.
